The Ark is a game viewing lodge in
Aberdare National Park in Kenya. It is built
near a water hole and is lit at night so
visitors can watch the animals that come to
drink. The peak on the horizon is Mt. Kenya,
the 2nd highest peak in Africa. I got up early
to see the sunrise. A bushbuck tentatively
approached the water hole and cautiously
scanned the area for predators before
