"IT IS FORBIDDEN TO CLIMB THE PYRAMID."
The signs are all over the place. One day my
wife and I, plus a couple friends, decided to
climb the small pyramid after dark. Lots of
foreign residents in Cairo did it. No light shows
were planned, so it seemed the perfect time.
After we got to the top the lights came on! We
were spotted, but stayed low until the local
guards gave up on us. After an hour or two we
climbed down and made our escape. This
